Southern Cross Catholic School

Southern Cross Catholic School opened in January 1998 with 61 students. It is situated in Annandale on 8 hectares of land. Southern Cross' mission is to provide an excellent Catholic education for the suburbs and surrounding semi-rural areas. Our simple, strong motto, "SHINE", applies to all aspects of school life. We seek to shine as a Christian community, as individual learners and as a group within the Townsville community.

We have a dedicated and professional staff with a strong commitment to provide a well balanced curriculum to the students in  our care.

We recently developed a new sports oval using the latest environmental green initiatives.  We have plans to add a secondary school in the future.
